Real special one incoming this Friday as we welcome a very special guest indeed - Soundway Records long-time label manager Alice Whittington aka Norsicaa steps in, fresh off the release of the phenomenal Ayo Ke Disco compilation (available in all good record stores worldwide) on Soundway Records.

The compilation sees Alice embracing her Malaysian heritage and selecting music from her heavy collection of Asian records, providing a snapshot of the vibrant discotheques and live scenes across Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Hong Kong and the Philippines.

The release is also accompanied by the Ayo Ke Disco zine from Norsicaa, with extensive research on the history of music in South-East Asia, archival photos and exclusive interviews with some of the region’s most respected collectors - two of which we know pretty well here in leisuretown - they're none other than Dean Chew and Itch who's joining her that night as well. Pull up, this is one for the books!
